She was the first full-time Pilates instructor in the Dance Department of Goucher College, Maryland, and worked in a number of Pilates studios in the NYC area. Over the years, she has appeared in television news programs, newspaper articles, and instructional videos on Pilates.  In 2013, she was a top ten finalist in the Pilates Anytime instructor contest.

Prior to her Pilates training, Lynne received an M.F.A degree in dance performance and choreography from the University of Michigan and danced and choreographed professionally in New York. In 2009, she received her second master's degree in movement science from Teachers College, Columbia University. She continues to study anatomy and kinesiology, most notably with Irene Dowd, Thomas Myers, and Kinected's FAMI program.
